Grown at 2,050m in the volcanic highlands of Sotará, Cauca, this washed Geisha lot is the result of innovative farming and meticulous processing at Juan Martín, Banexport’s experimental farm dedicated to innovation and quality. Ripe Geisha cherries were carefully harvested, hand-sorted, de-pulped, and then fermented in controlled bioreactors to enhance complexity. After fermentation, the coffee was washed three times before being dried in a solar dryer designed to mirror the ideal low-humidity drying conditions of East Africa. This meticulous approach yields a refined coffee that beautifully showcases Juan Martín's terroir, commitment to quality, and the elegant florals of the Geisha variety.
