Puck discs promote even water flow and act as a barrier to keep coffee from clumping on the dispersion screen. Ensure that your basket and coffee dose are properly balanced so that the puck disc is not placed tightly against the dispersion screen. This could potentially dent and damage the disc preventing further use.
