Each year, we craft our Summer Solstice blend to celebrate the longest day of the year, ushering in a new season of warmth and abundance.

This year's blend features coffees from Burundi and Costa Rica. Burundi Matongo, a fresh and fruity offering from our partners at JNP Coffee, complements the sweet, citrus notes of Costa Rica Coopedota, a coffee plucked straight from our single origin menu.

Each coffee is exceptional on its own, but together they create a cup profile reminiscent of a basket filled with freshly-picked stone fruits and berries — a quintessential taste of summer.

How To Brew

We recommend starting with a 1:18 coffee-to-water ratio, which provides an excellent total extraction level and maximizes flavor pulled out of the ground coffee. For our blends we recommend either a pour over or a automatic drip home machine. We recommend a grind size 5 or 6 or if you are grinding at home mimic the size of Morton Coarse Kosher Salt.
