We've designed a special selection bundle for the holidays composed of three of our most exquisite coffees of the year.

Bolivia Finca Takesi Geisha

Every year we await the annual Geisha harvest at Bolivia's Finca Takesi with eager anticipation. This year's harvest combines the persistent sweetness and delicate florals that are a hallmark of the Geisha cultivar with a basket full of juicy fruit.

Flavor notes: Blackberry, Hibiscus, Mango

Ethiopia Gesha Village 1931 Natural

At Gesha Village, Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel Overton have taken an heirloom cultivar from the primeval forests where coffee was born and processed it with a modern twist on a time-honored tradition. The result is truly superlative - a 1931 Gesha varietal lot that combines the outsize flavors of the natural process with the crisp clarity characteristic of the best washed coffees.

Flavor notes: Golden Raisin, Plum, Ube

Guatemala CoE #17 Kape'Tenango

This is our first purchase from the second farm of Mauricio Rosales, an Intelligentsia Direct Trade partner since 2003. In 2014, Mauricio started Kape'Tenango, which means "land of coffee" in the indigenous Mam language, to focus on varieties not typically grown in Central America. The international jury at the most recent Cup of Excellence competition thought this blend of Kenyan varieties was among the best coffees produced in Guatemala in 2020.

Flavor notes: Orange, Black Cherry, Apple

PLEASE NOTE: This bundle is available as whole bean only.
This bundle will roast & ship every other Thursday from Chicago.
Each bag contains 7 ounces of coffee.

    How To Brew

We recommend starting with a 1:18 coffee-to-water ratio, which provides an excellent total extraction level and maximizes flavor pulled out of the ground coffee. For our single origin coffees we recommend a pour over method either on a Chemex, V60 or Kalita Wave on a 5 or 6 grind setting if you are ordering from Intelligentsiacoffee.com.
